Plan Your Visit
Your First Sunday
Can Be Simple.
Visiting a new church can feel uncertain. We want to remove as many questions as possible before you arrive.
At Calvary Assembly, you can come as you are, sit wherever you feel comfortable, and participate at your own pace. You will not be placed on the spot. You will simply be welcomed by people who are genuinely glad you came.
No pressure. No awkward spotlight.
Letting us know you are coming is optional. It simply gives us the opportunity to answer questions and help make your visit easier.

What to Expect
Know What Will Happen
Before You Arrive.
A first visit feels easier when you know what to expect. Here is a simple picture of what your Sunday morning can look like.
Arrive a Few Minutes Early
Arriving about ten minutes before the service gives you time to park, enter, choose a seat, and settle in without feeling rushed.
Expect a Friendly Welcome
Someone will likely greet you, but you will not be singled out, asked to speak, or placed in an uncomfortable spotlight.
Heartfelt Worship
The worship is sincere and centered on Jesus. You may stand, remain seated, sing, or simply listen as you become comfortable.
Bible-Centered Teaching
Expect a message rooted in Scripture and intended to help you grow in faith, understand God’s Word, and face everyday life.
Dress Comfortably
There is no special dress code. Wear what feels appropriate and comfortable to you. You do not need to dress a certain way to belong.
Plan for a Comfortable Visit
Service length can vary, especially when the congregation takes time for prayer and ministry. You are free to participate at your own pace.
You do not need to know every detail before coming.
A little preparation can make your first visit easier, and the Calvary congregation will help with the rest.
Children and Families
Your Family Is
Welcome at Calvary.
Children and teenagers are always welcome, even though Calvary does not currently operate large, full-time age-group programs.
Calvary Assembly is a smaller congregation, so ministry for children and youth may vary from service to service. We would rather explain that honestly than create an expectation we cannot consistently meet.
Families are still important to us. When children or teenagers attend, the congregation and pastoral team will do their best to help them feel comfortable, included, and cared for.
We want to help you plan honestly.
Contacting the church before your visit allows us to learn your family's needs and explain what may be available that day.
Planning for Your Family
What Families Can Expect
Every family is different. These simple guidelines can help you prepare for a comfortable first visit.
Children May Stay With Their Family
Your children are welcome to sit with you during worship and the message.
A Little Movement Is Understandable
Children do not have to be perfectly still or completely silent to be welcome.
Limited Help May Be Available
Depending on the service and available volunteers, additional help may sometimes be possible.
Contact Us Before You Come
Tell us the ages of your children and any concerns so we can help you know what to expect.
Calvary is committed to serving families responsibly as the church grows. The availability of age-specific ministry may change over time.
Bringing children should not keep you from visiting.
Reach out before Sunday and let Calvary help you plan a visit that feels comfortable for your whole family.
