You Can Be Known Here
You are more than a face in the room. At Calvary, there is room to learn your name, hear your story, celebrate your victories, and stand beside you during difficult seasons.
Calvary Assembly of God
You do not have to get lost in the crowd to grow closer to God.
Calvary Assembly is a smaller church where people can know your name, pray with you, and walk beside you. Come experience sincere worship, biblical teaching, and a church family with room for you.
Calvary may be a meaningful fit if these things matter to you.
Smaller can mean more personal, more connected, and more room to build genuine relationships.
Scripture, prayer, worship, and spiritual growth remain central to the life of the congregation.
Why Calvary Assembly?
Calvary Assembly may not be the largest church in the area, but large is not what everyone is looking for. Some people are searching for deeper faith, genuine relationships, personal prayer, and a place where their presence truly matters.
You are more than a face in the room. At Calvary, there is room to learn your name, hear your story, celebrate your victories, and stand beside you during difficult seasons.
We believe spiritual growth begins with the Word of God. Preaching, Bible study, prayer, and faithful Christian living remain central to who we are and where we are going.
Prayer is not simply a scheduled activity. It is how we carry one another’s burdens, seek God’s direction, and believe together for His help, healing, and strength.
A smaller church creates meaningful opportunities to contribute. Your gifts, experience, prayers, encouragement, and willingness to serve can help strengthen the entire congregation.
Calvary may be a meaningful fit if you are looking for a church where relationships are personal, faith is taken seriously, and participation matters.
Join us this Sunday at 10:00 AM. Come as you are and take your next step at your own pace.
Your First Visit
Walking into a new church can feel uncertain. We want to make your first visit simple, comfortable, and meaningful.
At Calvary Assembly, you can expect a sincere welcome without being placed on the spot. You can participate at your own pace, meet people naturally, and take time to experience the service.
You will hear Bible-centered teaching, experience heartfelt worship, and meet people who genuinely care about one another. You do not need to have everything figured out before you come.
You will not be embarrassed, pressured, or expected to know what to do. We are simply glad to welcome you.
What Your Visit Can Look Like
Come a few minutes early, find a comfortable place to sit, and take a moment to settle in before the service begins.
Expect a friendly greeting without pressure. You will not be singled out or asked to speak in front of the church.
Worship with the congregation, hear a Bible-centered message, and participate only as much as you feel comfortable.
Our hope is that you leave strengthened in faith, reminded that God cares about you, and knowing there is room to return.
Before You Arrive
You should not have to guess about what to wear, where your children will sit, or what kind of service you will experience. Here are the practical details most first-time guests want to know.
Some people dress casually, while others prefer traditional church clothing. You do not need to dress a certain way to attend or be welcomed.
Come as you are.
The service includes congregational worship, prayer, and a message from Scripture. You may participate at your own pace without being placed under pressure.
Sunday worship begins at 10:00 AM.
Calvary does not currently operate large, full-time children’s or youth programs. Children and teenagers are welcome to sit with their families during the service.
Call ahead with questions about your family’s needs.
Contact Calvary before your visit if someone in your group needs accessibility assistance or another practical accommodation. The church will do its best to help.

Pastor Bob and Shelley Darnell lead with warmth, experience, and a sincere desire to help people feel welcomed, encouraged, and connected to God.
Their ministry is personal because people are personal. They believe pastoral care includes preaching the Word, praying with people, listening to their stories, and walking beside them through the changing seasons of life.
Pastor Bob and Shelley have served in pastoral ministry since 1998. They came to Calvary Assembly in 2019 and have faithfully served the church and the Park City community ever since.
Pastor Bob is ordained with the Assemblies of God. Together, Bob and Shelley bring decades of ministry experience and 54 years of marriage to their leadership.
Their greatest strength may be their heart for people. They are warm, inviting, and approachable, reflecting the same spirit of welcome found throughout the Calvary Assembly congregation.

You Do Not Have to Carry It Alone
Prayer is how we seek God, carry one another's burdens, and stand together in faith. When you share a need with Calvary Assembly, you are asking real people to pray for you personally.
Life can become heavy quickly. Illness, family concerns, grief, financial pressure, uncertainty, and spiritual battles can leave people feeling isolated.
At Calvary Assembly, prayer means you do not have to face those moments by yourself. We will bring your need before God with compassion, faith, and respect.
“The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”
James 5:16 NKJVHow Can We Pray for You?
Tell us what you are facing. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable sharing. Your request will be treated with care and respect.
Your request matters because you matter.
Sensitive requests can be shared confidentially.
We will faithfully bring your need before God.
You may request that your need be shared only with the pastor or with the church prayer team.
You do not have to attend Calvary to ask for prayer.
Your request will not disappear into an automated system.
Calvary is ready to stand with you in faith.
Grow in God’s Word
Biblical teaching should do more than fill a notebook. It should help you know God, understand His Word, and live with greater faith throughout the week. At Calvary Assembly, Scripture remains central.
